A while ago I talked about a game series called Ys. I already covered the first two games, so now it's time to talk about the Wanderers from Ys. In 1991 Nihon Falcom decided to try out something new for the third installment of their series, and they went side-scrolling.

Back in 1987 Nihon Falcom created a little game called Ys: The Vanished Omens for the NEC PC-8801. Today, almost 25 years later, Ys has grown into one of the largest RPG franchises out there, being only second to Final Fantasy.
